Air Liquide Updates its Global Brand
Supplier of industrial gases deploys a brand management solution to create continuity across the group's 100 websites around the world, while also adapting content to suit local markets.
As the world leader in gases for industry, health, and the environment, Air Liquide is present in 72 countries and operates more than 100 websites worldwide. It was important to the company to create a recognizable brand identity across all its sites, to represent the corporate worldwide. To accomplish this, Air Liquide chose WEDIA's collaborative multisite and multilingual solution, which enabled the company to:
- Use a single collaborative platform to create, manage and publish content on the web and regularly update local Internet websites
- Decentralize the publishing process so non-technician contributors could update content for each region, while still maintaining central control over brand elements
- Control the implementation and adaptation of international marketing campaigns
- Significantly reduce development and maintenance costs needed to support a worldwide web presence
Air Liquide works with a system designed for its own needs and that can evolve according to its online marketing strategy. The multilingual and multisite solution has been deployed successfully on the majority of its sites.
